4 Charged For ‘Hate Crimes’ After Shocking Facebook Livestream Of Racially-Motivated Torture


Kidnapped, tied up, beaten, humiliated, threatened and tortured. A vulnerable white male is recovering in Chicago right now. But the four black people responsible? They face race hate crime and kidnapping charges for their part in the Facebook Live-streamed torture that’s shocked the world.

Jordan Hill, Brittany Covington and Tesfaye Cooper and Tanishia Covington will appear in a Chicago court today.

Chicago Police Superintendent Eddie Johnson said this about the crime:

“I’ve been a cop for 28 years and I’ve seen things that you shouldn’t see in a lifetime, but it still amazes me how you still see things that you just shouldn’t.”
