New James Bond Trailer Sees The Return Of SPECTRE

It’s hard to believe that James Bond first burst on to the screen fifty three years ago back in 1962. That movie was Dr. No, and since then Bond has been portrayed by six actors through twenty four movies. There have been highs such as Goldfinger, From Russia With Love, The Spy Who Loved Me, Licence To Kill, Goldeneye and Skyfall, and there have been lows such as Diamonds Are Forever, Moonraker, The Living Daylights and Die Another Day.

Since Daniel Craig donned the tuxedo back in 2006, the franchise has maintained a pretty good hit rate, with one notable dip in quality with 2008’s Quantum of Solace. Craig’s latest offering, Spectre, sees the return of Bond’s nemesis – an international criminal organisation fans of the franchise haven’t seen on screen since 1971. Two teasers have already been released, and now MGM has released this, the final theatrical trailer until the movie hits cinemas in November.

It’s classic James Bond – girls, guns, gadgets, fast cars, intrigue, danger, romance … you name it, Spectre‘s got it in bucketloads. After several summers full of virtually nothing but superhero garbage for overgrown children, it’s good to see there’s finally a movie coming out for people who want to see something other than broody pretty boys in spandex costumes punch cities to pieces for the sixty millionth time.

Bond is back, ladies and gentlemen. And he’s back in style.
