When Miami State police officer Fausto Lopez was late for an off-duty job at a Coconut Grove school, he decided to flaunt the law he was supposed to be upholding by driving down the highway at 125mph. His recklessness didn’t go unchallenged when he passed a Florida Highway Patrol car. The FHP car gave chase and, after nearly five minutes of dangerous driving, finally brought the Miami police car to a halt. The Florida trooper was not amused and didn’t hesitate to treat the speeding officer like any other driver, as the following video shows.
