They’re the best hip-hop group of all time (don’t tell Flavor Flav we said that, okay?). And now there’s a movie about them heading our way. They’re NWA and they’re coming Straight Outta Compton. It’s not dropping until August, but the trailer’s here…
The new movie stars Ice Cube’s son O’Shea Jackson Jr. as Ice Cube (that explains the crazy similarity…), Jason Mitchell as Eazy-E, Aldis Hodge as MC Ren, Neil Brown Jr. as DJ Yella, Corey Hawkins as Dr. Dre and Lakeith Lee Stanfield as Snoop Dogg. It’s director F. Gary Gray was the guy behind the camera on Ice Cube and Chris Tucker’s Friday – so you know it’ll be pretty damn good!
Anyway, the trailer’s here and it looks like it’s gonna live up the the hype.
