Now this might look like cruel and unusual torment for both baby and snake, but it’s not. In India, snakes are worshipped and cruelty against them is strictly forbidden. The snake you’re going to see was part of a batch of rescue snakes looked after by tribal locals after a housing development tore through a jungle.
The snake was defanged so it would be safe in the village. So it’s perfectly harmless. But pretty shocking footage nonetheless!
