A flight attendant working for a Middle Eastern airline reportedly made almost A MILLION DOLLARS moonlighting as a prostitute on long haul flights.
The air hostess allegedly made in excess of $2,500 per flight, which sent her total earnings soaring way above £900,000 in just the one year. The woman has since been fired and deported following an incident in which she was caught in the act.
A colleague of the woman said this to local journalists: “She admitted that she had sex with many other passengers during flight and that she preferred long distance flights between the Gulf and the United States.”
Apparently the women isn’t the only one doing it, though. Sometimes pilots get in on the action too. Speaking to the Tokyo Reporter, another stewardess said: “There is a system where the pilots use hand signals to tell the hostesses they are interested, and how much they will pay.”
Japanese flight attendants have seen their salaries slashed by more than a quarter in recent years and many turn to prostitution to make ends meet.
