Crouch under a teammate and they can stand on your head, gaining height for an angle or a peek nobody expects. A boost opens off-angles, lets an AWP see over cover, or sneaks a player onto a perch the enemy never checks.

“Crouch here, boost me up so I can watch over the wall onto site.”

Boosts win rounds when they catch people off guard and lose them instantly when spotted, since the boosted player is stuck and exposed.

“They found the boost and shredded both of us, that spot's burned now.”
