How Reporting Works

If something on ThugBible is wrong — a copyright claim, illegal content, harassment, doxxing, or anything else that violates our Community Guidelines — report it. Every word page and comment has a Report button. For anything more complex, email [email protected]. One inbox handles all of it.

This page covers copyright complaints, illegal content, DSA notice rights for EU users, and everything in between. We handle all reports through editorial judgment, applied consistently and in good faith.

What to Include in a Report

To help us act quickly, include the following when you email:

We don't require statutory declarations, notarized statements, or penalty-of-perjury language. We do require enough information to understand the problem and verify it.

How We Respond

We read every report. We remove or restrict content at our editorial discretion when a report has genuine merit. We exercise judgment — including considering whether content is factual, whether it carries cultural or documentary value, and whether a definition of a word (even an offensive one) is different from an attack using that word. Slang definitions are generally factual and not copyrightable in themselves. A definition that documents how a word is used is not the same as reproducing an article, a song lyric, or a piece of original creative work.

When we act on a report, we notify the account that posted the content and explain what we did and why.

EU Users — DSA Article 16 Notice Rights

If you are based in the European Union, you have a right under the Digital Services Act (Article 16) to submit a notice about content you believe is illegal or violates these terms, and to receive a statement of reasons explaining any decision we make in response. Email [email protected] and mark your email "DSA Notice" so we can handle it under the correct process. If you're not satisfied with our response, you have the right to escalate to an out-of-court dispute settlement body in your member state.

Counter-Claims

If your content was removed following a report and you believe the removal was wrong, email [email protected] with your username and the URL that was removed, and tell us why you believe the decision was incorrect. We'll re-review with fresh eyes and respond with our reasoning.

Repeat Violations

Accounts that repeatedly post content that generates valid reports — whether for copyright, illegal content, harassment, or other violations — are suspended or permanently banned. We track patterns, not just individual incidents. Details are in the Community Guidelines.

Bad-Faith Reports

Submitting a report you know to be false — to get content removed for competitive reasons, to silence a user you disagree with, or for any other bad-faith purpose — is a violation of our Community Guidelines and may carry legal liability under applicable law. We don't act on obviously frivolous or retaliatory reports.
