Maxing the score counter so it physically can't display any higher.
Definitions
The score ceiling. Every counter has a max number of digits, and a counterstop is when you score so much the display literally can't go higher and rolls over or freezes. The ultimate flex in scoring play, usually requiring relentless milking and a flawless run.
Also used as a verb. To counterstop is to hit that maximum.
