A posh South Dubliner from the Dublin 4 postcode — Ireland's version of a Sloane.

Someone — usually mocked — from the leafy, monied Dublin 4 postcode (Ballsbridge, Donnybrook, Sandymount). The D4 head is the Irish Sloane Ranger: rugby club, Audi, holiday in the south of France, accent that turns 'roads' into 'rhodes'. Ross O'Carroll-Kelly is the patron saint of the breed.
