Means laughter. Originated in World of Warcraft, where Horde players typing 'lol' had it auto-translated to 'kek' for Alliance players. Escaped into Twitch, Discord and 4chan chat where it stuck. Carries slightly more 'laughing AT you' energy than plain lol.
