A role-based subgroup within a K-pop group — vocal line, dance line, rap line, visual line.
Definitions
A subset of group members grouped by what they bring to the table. Vocal line = the singers. Dance line = the dancers. Rap line = the rappers. Visual line = the faces. Plus age-based lines like hyung line (older members) and maknae line (younger). Fans use these constantly to talk about who's carrying what part of a comeback.
A dedicated burner phone — and by extension the entire drug-selling operation behind it — used to take orders from users in a provincial town. Owning 'a line' means controlling the number, the runners, the stash and the customer list; lines get bought, sold, robbed and inherited like small businesses.
