Definitions

1

A RuneScape account built for PvP by training a deliberately limited set of skills, leaving others (especially Defence) low to keep the combat level down. The result hits like a truck but takes hits like a wet paper bag. All offence, no defence.

“He's on a pure, so he'll out-damage you easily, just don't let him land the combo.”

Different flavours exist depending on which skills are trained, but the principle is the same: optimise for damage at a low combat bracket.

“I'm building a range pure, no melee, no Defence, just pure DPS.”
