ratio bait In A Sentence

'Cereal before milk is a war crime' — pure ratio bait, he knew exactly what he was doing.

Origin & Usage

Grew out of the Twitter 'ratio' concept (more replies than likes = bad tweet). By the late 2010s users clocked that controversy farms engagement, and 'ratio bait' named the deliberate version.
