Boston shorthand for somewhere unreasonably far. If a party is 'in the woop' or 'out in the woop-woop,' you're driving 40 minutes and parking in grass. Probably borrowed from the Australian 'woop-woop' (middle of nowhere) and clipped down — Bostonians use the singular too.
