To run an image — usually of an unsuspecting man, historical portrait or cursed meme — through aggressive FaceApp beauty filters until it's caked in contour, brows, lashes and lip gloss. The joke is the gap between source material (Toni Soprano, a medieval saint, a confused dad) and the glossy, over-feminised output. Spawned by the @YassifyBot Twitter account in November 2021.

“Someone yassified the Mona Lisa and now she looks like a Real Housewife of Florence.”
