Remember Nidia Garcia? She’s the Mexican cop who decided to flash more than her badge recently in a series of explicit photographs that went global thanks to the far-reaching tendrils of the Internet. Rumors were rife that the notorious drug lord El Chapo was behind the leak, though this was never confirmed. As a result, Garcia was suspended from duty and eventually had to leave her job as a police officer.
At the time of the scandal, Garcia told MailOnline, “The photo wasn’t taken for my husband. And he was so disgusted that I had been capable of letting another man take such photos that he left the house.”

Nope. Nidia has revealed she’s become a STRIPPER. That’s right! Far from the repentance she promised after the shots came to the public’s attention, and despite saying she’d do everything she could to sort out her marriage, Nidia’s decided taking off even more clothing is the way to go.
“I told him (Nidia’s husband) that if he wanted to leave, then he should go,” she has said. “Now, as I am beginning to perform as a stripper, he is pretending none of it is going on.”
Nidia was offered the stripping gig after Monterray club Poisson saw the shots. She’s now earning $700 per strip for private clients who come to the club.
“Nidia is now one of the most famous women in Mexico,” her agent, Mario Rodriguez says. “Whoever was threatening her with posting her intimate photos online did her a massive favour.”
