Grabbing the ledge yourself so the opponent can't grab it to recover.

Instead of attacking the recovering player, you just snatch the ledge first. Since only one fighter can hold it, their tether or sweet-spot recovery has nowhere to grab and they fall to their death. Cheap, clean, effective.
