Definitions

1

A structure sitting in front of the Nexus on each lane. Knock one down and the enemy team starts pumping out super minions in that lane, piling on pressure. They respawn after about five minutes, so it's a temporary advantage you have to cash in.

“"Take the inhib while it's down, super minions will hold the lane for us."”

Often shortened to 'inhib'. Cracking an inhibitor is a major mid-to-late-game step toward the Nexus and frequently the trigger for ending the game.

“"Two inhibs are down, just group and close it out."”
