Pup play

A form of pet play where someone drops into a dog/puppy persona — barking, panting, playing fetch, going non-verbal — often kitted out in a hood, paw mitts, collar, and a tail. A 'handler' takes the owner role: caring for, directing, and training the pup. Plenty of pups do it for the headspace and community more than for sex; it's as much about switching the human brain off as anything erotic. Big in the gay leather and gear scenes.
